@ brandnew: "There was a letter on my seat, saying thank you."
You gave a "good witness" (Do they still use that phrase?).
some years ago (the year when i got baptized), i was at a district convention (or whatever they call them these days) with my best friend.
he had a part in one of those acting parts at the convention (i have no idea the term jw's use for them in english).
anyway, we were both seeing through the bullshit of the borg but weren't aware at the time of this forum or other "apostate" groups, nor of the full extent of the perversity of this religion.

I remember being at school and, during my lunch break, walking in to a room where a sister was conducting a study. When she saw me enter she said that she needed to cover her head. Having nothing to cover her head with she took her sweater and pulled it up over head.
I thought that was cute.
i really think that he is.
not that it's a bad thing...
And a Gay Muslim crack dealer who was engaged to a man before he married Michelle.

minimus:
"my question is not conspiracy based. He seems very pro Muslim, more than any other politician that I know of."
He's being, in his opinion, respectful. He doesn't judge Judaic values because of the Old Testament nor does he judge Christians because of their hellfire for everyone teaching. He's simply of the belief that all religions are nice and smell of roses except for the terrorists in question. Terrorists in any religion.

No. He sends his daughters to a Unitarian school - Unitarians are politically liberal - and he himself was involved in a church that got notoriety for it's African American stand. The minister was reported as saying "God damn America."
He's brought up on prior occasion the fact that the Bible instituted slavery so he's not the type of Christian who rationalizes those type of matters.
i found this statement from a recent article about isis to be quite interesting in view of the way that any jw can be accused of apostasy with little or no possible repercussions or consequences for the accuser: .
in islam, the practice of takfir, or excommunication, is theologically perilous.
if a man says to his brother, you are an infidel, the prophet said, then one of them is right.
violias:
"The WTS has said in print and in their congos' that in the nation of Israel DF'd people would be stoned to death ( or some other horrible death) but the law of the land prevents them from taking this action in our time."
I was told that in my judicial committee. Specifically, "If you were in Israel you would be stoned."
for those of you familiar with ayn rand and her ideas on morality, rationality and reason, what is your opinion of those ideas?.
i'm talking about her actual ideas, not the ideals that libertarianism has adopted and, in some cases, perverted.
do you think she's a charlatan?
check this out.
got this bound volume from my dad.. .
Oubliette "For those that foolishly cling to JW false "theology" I offer this:"
I actually wrote this a while ago,
The Curse
You're going to grow old and die
Following the Watchtower lie
What will you say on that fateful day
after you've followed the Watchtower way?
No paradise just a life, that you never chose to live
A dedication to those who have nothing to give
You've finally grown old and soon will die
Following the Watchtower lie
